Hey RexRed fans, I have been working on my youtube videos lately. - TopicsExpress

Hey RexRed fans, I have been working on my youtube videos lately. I kinda thought that I was going to stop making video mashups. I was thinking I would go full time into making my own songs. I have realized that my videos mashup are a good way to reach people with my rexred website. What I mean by mashups is popular movies that are combined with popular songs. The very first video mash up I ever made was with the movie King Kong 2005. I kept thinking the movie King Kong would be very cool if it was combined with the Guns and Roses song Welcome to the Jungle. But I did not know how to use video editing software. So the idea kept nudging at my mind. For about three days the idea was coming to my mind repetitively. So I figured I would try to make a video with windows video editing software. For all the times I failed in the past this one time I succeeded in making a video. There were problems with the video, my computer at the time was very slow and it could not display every frame of the video so there were overlapping scenes that I could not see. Well after much trial and error I was able to get a halfway decent video of the song and movie. This that I made was not actually a trailer it was like watching the whole King Kong story in about 7 minutes to one of the coolest hard rock songs of all time. After that movie then more movies and songs came to mind til I was up to about eighty videos I had made. Not all ideas I have had have worked. Sometimes I have an idea for a song/movie and I go to combined them and the final product is either boring or they simply do not work together. I try to be really cool about the movies I pick and sometimes the subject matter is just too mature to properly relay the story in seven to ten minutes. Some of my movie edits have taken me seventeen hours to make some have taken only a couple hours. Most of them take at least three to four hours to make. Well, with video now moving from standard definition to high definition most of my videos were made in standard definition. So I really believe in the work I have done and it has become evident that this work would be even greater if it were available in high definition. This means remaking the videos totally from scratch. When I made them in the first place I just picked scenes to put in the video but to remake them I have to find the exact same scenes and realign them up which is actually more time consuming. When it comes to a two hour movie this can be difficult, but some of my videos came from shows with many episodes. My X-Files video was about eight minutes long but the video content spanned through three seasons of the X-Files. That is many hours of content if I were to try and remake that particular video. My Start Trek video spanned ten movies and my Star Wars video spanned five movies. To re-make these videos will be quite a task. I will let you all know when a video has been remade and post them here. Here is a link to one of my videos now remade in pristine high definition. This video took me five hours to reedit last night. I hope you like it. This is the very first video mash-up idea I ever had so I thought it apropos that I start here and remake this video in HD. I hope you like it. If you have not seen King Kong 2005 well you have had ten years to catch the movie so technically this is not a spoiler. If you like this video I have edited then please go to Netflix or Amazon Prime and watch the whole movie. Please enjoy! I will be sending more videos along as they are remade peeps! Thanks for reading this and best to you! Thanks for your support and also if you would, go to rexred and check out my original songs there. Have a glass of wine (or two) and kick back and take a journey through my life long endeavor to make solo music. There are five albums on rexred and one of them is a double album. Take care and much love peeps!!! RexRed
