Hey! So earlier on I posted about my Malinois puppy with diarrhea, he still has it a bit, but we are trying him on a new vet food that seems to really be helping :) still a struggle though! Anyways, today I have a different question. Where do you feel (opinions) a belgian malinois (or any working dog) puppy should be at training wise at 13 weeks old? What do you feel the difference of a pet puppy should be training wise at this age or should it be the same? Currently he knows sit, down, hand touch/targeting, attention, recall, LLW, beginning of a heel and is working on off. He also can find it with his nose to sniff for hidden treats. I feel like he is very far behind for a 13 week old working pup (my fault), and I would like to know if anyone has ideas on more advanced training I can do in prep for SAR and SHz work! Do you feel like to do much more would be over training or am I under training? Thanks :)
