Hey There !! Hope you dont mind sharing this important event here ! KCLSU will be holding a Student General Meeting (SGM) on Tuesday 25th March at 6pm in the Edmond J. Safra lecture hall. One of the motions that will be put to the vote is the campaign KCLAP have been working on throughout the year on Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS). As active members of the College community we are putting forward this motion to encourage the College to divest from companies who are placing profit before human rights. Our latest Stop G4S campaign is part of this greater movement. We encourage any KCL student who has been part of the Action Palestine solidarity movement on campus - attended our events, been part of our meetings or even shared our messages online, to come and support a demand that is not just restricted to the plight of the Palestinians but raises questions about the ethical legitimacy of the investments our institution is engaging in. Come and make you voice heard this Tuesday. Lets make Kings College London be remembered for standing for human rights as it did during the struggle against apartheid South Africa !
