Hey everybody!!! Sorry its been so long. Went home for a week back to Indiana to see my ailing mother and sister. Moms doing pretty well, sister is not. Got to enjoy my eldest sister and family. I love them all so. Ive be bombarded with questions about where Im playing next, and where have I been playing, and with who. Well, this week has been wonderful. Sitting in with Terry Brock Tue and Thu nights at Foghorns, Bruce and Jay from the band Shabuda, Wed pm at Foghorns, and Clay Musgrave was also gracious enough to let me sit in during one of his breaks at Sharkeys on Thu as well. Thanks to all of you Monsters (as we refer to them in the music biz,,,meaning the best of the best here in PCB),,,,,HAD A BLAST! Also stopped by Buchaneers and Salty Sues and hopefully will see future bookings there when the snowbirds make it down soon. Dont forget our jam at the Blue Water Lounge each Sun., tomorrow, 6-10pm. Some of the best music and definitely the best open mic jam in the area in my opinion as far as musicianship. I have 4 degrees in music back in the 80s at the University of Colorado, Denver. So Sonny knows his stuff. ANYTHING YOU WANT OR FEEL YOU NEED TO KNOW, ASK ME. Youll here nothing but the truth about whatever the question you might have about the music business. Also lastnight, Amvets had their Halloween party. What a kick in the shorts! Rev. Suede provided the best of entertainment, as he always does, the costumes were far out! What a great time by all as unsual at Post 47. Love you Debra for busting your tail and ALWAYS wearing that beautiful smile too match your magnetic and wonderful personality. Youre a very blessed man Billy! Lastnight was a great night at Whiskeys. Kicking butt out there was Shaboda (sp?). Damn,,what a killer band!!!! Love you guys. Nobody does Pink Floyd like you all. Again, thank you Bruce and Jay for letting me sit in with yall at Foghorns Wed. pm. Thats way too much from me right now, but many have asked me whats going on with you Sonny? Thats just a little of whats been happening the last 3 weeks. This doesnt include our dear, dear friend Don Underwood passing away this last week. Hes being buried in California at his family plot. He was actually out there for a service for one of his sisters passing when Don and his heart attack and didnt make it. Well keep you posted on upcoming memorial celebrations for Don and his family. What a truly beautiful man and excellent musician. Don was 72 yrs. of age, but still played YOUNG. Another beautiful soul in the rock-n-roll hall fame up there with IROC, Elvis, Stevie Ray,,,,,the list goes on and on and on..........Love and miss you all!
