Hey everyone! I am very excited to announce that we are launching for the first time ever at the club a formal boxing class every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:30-19:30. If you want to learn how to box properly and develop your striking skills, do not miss this class! The boxing coach is Amy. She is a Level 2 Boxing coach with 15 years of experience as both a trainer and competitor. She is a wealth of information and an excellent coach. Do not miss this opportunity! Classes will begin this coming week, Tuesday 6 January. If you plan on participating you will need to bring hand wraps, boxing gloves, mouth guard and headgear. The mouth guard/headgear are required if you are going to spar. This will be a technical boxing class comprised of skipping rope, pad work, heavy bag work, shadow boxing and sparring. The goal is skill acquisition and proper training methodologies. All training will be centred around proper form and function. 2015 is going to kick off with a bang!!!!
