Hey everyone~ I know that some of you may have had trouble finding local furries on FA and such. To help with that, I wanted to include a few links below to help everyone meet those who are somewhat close to home. Pounced Great for meeting those both near and far. This one goes based off of location but you do need to be 18+ to sign up. pounced.org/usermain.php NorCal Furs and californiafurs Sometimes in the comments you can see other furs posting their location in California that is near Sacramento or Stockton. This is more of a long shot, but it can still help for those furs who do not use pounced. furaffinity.net/user/californiafurs furaffinity.net/user/norcalfurs/ Furs by Location This one is updated every so often based off of forum posts by others stating where they are from. Currently, only 5 Stockton furs have posted there, but there are quite a few from all over California listed to date. https://forums.furaffinity.net/threads/107098-Furs-by-Location-v6-0?highlight=stockton The Bay Area Furries meetup Group I joined this some time last year but never did anything to participate in the group due to transportation issues (my car is too old for all of that driving). However, if you tend to visit the bay area from time to time, join this group and go to their meetups. This is an easy way to make new furry friends from out of town if you happen to be in the area or on the way there to begin with. meetup/SFBayAreaFurs/ FurrTrax I have one account on here but couldnt get past the color scheme of the website. However, based on a recent search, this has 8 furries in Stockton registered on this website. Im sure that that must mean that there are more in our surrounding area. furrtrax/ FurryMate This one I joined back when it was first created. I checked in once a few months back and it seems like they have a pay-to-use service now for members. If you have an account and are paying for it already, use the search parameters to find local furs. If not, I dont know if it would be worth putting money into unless you really want/need a mate. furrymate/ If anyone has any other websites to add, please include them below.
