Hey everyone! Last night (9:14 pm PST) we experienced the 6th of 7 exact squares between Uranus and Pluto - for those who have been following along - this is the defining energy of this generation. This evolution versus revolution vibe has been with us since 2012, and the last exact square will be on March 15th, 2015. Phew. Over the last 2-3 years, many of us can attest that the circumstances in our personal lives, and in the world, have changed markedly since before this sweeping force began. Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn have felt the effects of this whirlwind the hardest. Remember, that although it was exact last night - it has been building for awhile, and many of us felt the effects of this building tension at least over the last couple of weeks. For those who are new-ish to Astrology, a square is when two planetary archetypes make a 90 degree angle to each other. This angle produces friction, discomfort, and the need to adjust so both archetypes can express their energies in a more positive way. A reminder: Uranus is in Aries (the individual) and is known as the Great Awakener - associated with liberation, upheaval, and doing things in a brand new way. Pluto is in Capricorn (the status quo) and is associated with tearing down old structures, endings followed by rebirths, and power. The Moon is in Libra today, usually a pleasant, socially embodied place for the Moon, but it is tied into this square, and makes some crunchy aspects with both Uranus and Pluto this evening. Thankfully the Moon moves quickly, so it wont linger there long. Be mindful today, and over the next few days. Find your center, and do not allow yourself to become embroiled in conflict. There is time after to deal with whats on your mind, without tapping into the tension of the Universe!
