Hey everyone, you may have seen a disappointing article about one of our franchises based in the South Island on Campbell Live last night. Smith & Sons operate under a franchise - unfortunately one bad experience with a particular franchisee can cause the rest of the team to look bad. Each Smith & Sons franchise is independently owned and operated by a local builder and their families, who are great people that do their best to get the job done right. As a company, we have completed over 3000 renovations in NZ and most of these customers have been more than happy with the end result. Smith & Sons are NZs largest renovation builder, and we havent reached this position by doing shoddy workmanship and treating customers badly. This is the first time a complaint has gone to TV and hopefully will be our last as we learn from you - the NZ public. However - if you have had a bad experience - we understand how frustrating this can be so please keep the conversation coming so we can understand how we can do things better.
