For those who are interested in working with the RAZA Community this week or next week, check out these amazing events in your area! 1. RAZA DAY LA This Saturday, March 29th, join the RAZA Recruitment and Retention Center as we put on the 4th Annual Dia de La RAZA! Come out for an amazing day of empowerment for LA Youth. This college fair is targeted to high school students interested in pursuing higher education, so PLEASE feel free to spread the word to any schools or high school students in SoCal. Free food, performances and of course your beloved RAZA Community! Time: 9am-3pm Location: ELAC (East Los Angeles Community College) Flyer is attached so you can fwd it along! Transfer Empowerment Day This is the 2nd annual Transfer Empowerment Day, which aims to outreach to first generation community college students of color to revisit what roots them to pursue higher education. TED provides the logistics of the transfer process, lifestyle at CAL, valuable educational tools, and empowering experiences to help community college students navigate higher education.
