Hey folks. Ive had an influx of new guests in the past few months due to all the awesome write ups Folklore has received online and out in the world. I am so excited to welcome so many new people to our salon and to my chair & to grow my client base! Something that happens during a growth period is that we experience a higher than usual number of last minute cancellations. As a result of this unfortunate development, when you schedule for a color or chemical service with me, you will be required to provide a credit card up front in order to book. When you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment, you will be responsible for the late cancellation fee for that appointment, which is half of the cost of the service that youve booked. It is unfortunate that I am required to take this stance for myself, but necessary. Keep in mind when you book out time with me, I am prepared to meet with you at the time of the appointment. I have driven in the same LA traffic as you, and I have arrived prepared to meet with you. When you cancel your appointment a few hours before it is scheduled, or just dont show up, I take the hit for the day and often cant fill that space on such short notice. I make my living as a hair stylist. It is how I pay my rent and it is how I take care of myself in my life. I have put 1000% of myself into being an educated colorist, in being dedicated to your satisfaction as my client and being here for you when you schedule an appointment. It is because I respect you and your time that I show up even on days when I wish I could take a personal day. I deserve the same courtesy.
