Hey guys, love your show I have listened through your whole playlist 3 times in 5 days. You guys help to make the scriptures fun to study. I thought you guys might appreciate this. This is something I posted on my Facebook page to help explain something that struck me as interesting and cool. Thought it would be right up your alley. I am a big fan of taking names of Yeshua from the New Testament and plugging them into the Hebrew Scriptures. Like how Jesus says I am the way, the truth, and the life... If you take the words the way and go back to the Hebrew Scriptures and find a verse where it says the way. And watch what happens. Like in Deuteronomy 6 3-9. Much Agape fellas. Keep it up LET ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING... I instantly fell in love with this verse absolutly overcome with the spirit of the Lord by the realization of what this verse was really saying and what Jesus ment when he held up scrolls from the old testament and said you think these words give you salvation, but these scriptures testify of me. And his name was Yeshua in greek. If you would have met him he would have been introduced as Yeshua. Yeshua is the Hebrew word for salvation. All through history when the Jews would have been studying these scrolls the would have said this starting were it says Jehovah is my strength. First off Jehovah is not the name of God. It is the German transliteration of the tetrogramton(I think thats how you spell it) but it was four letters YHVH or YHWH pronounced YotHeVavHe or the unpronouncable name of God. Will be our strength but it says that YHWH will also become our salvation. Now in thier Hebrew tongue would have been say the word yeshua at the end of that sentence. Every time they read or said it quoting scripture. They would have literally been saying Jesuss name everytime they said the word salvation. You see Jesus is the English translation of the latin Yesus which is the Latin translation of the Greek word Isus which actually ends up only being the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name Yeshua. No joke if you look up whats the greek meaning of Isus it will tell you its the transliteration of the name Yeshua. And Yeshua means SALVATION So you can literally take the end of the verse and say God will become my Jesus. HaHa. Just something to think about when you try to figure out who Jesus was. Thats what makes the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament so unique. And why its important to use accurate translations along with a Hebrew and Greek Lexicon and Concordance when studying the scriptures. No other so called scriptures such as The Book of Mormon, The Apocryphal Text, Corrupt translations of the Bible and so on... I know there are only a few who will truly appreciate this when they read it. Like my mom Annette Ivey, Anne Michelle, Sue Perry, David Perry, Shelly Johnson(All except the BOM part. Its spelled out in black and white all over your scriptures if you know what to look for. Oh yeah wanna throw Robert Sweigart in there too. Love all you guys.
