Hey shooters, here is an update on the Accuracy challenge. While out of town the last two days and reading your questions and comments on a phone we realized we needed to address some questions from the great feedback that we have received. Most of you that asked a question we replied directly to you, but we are sure there are others with the same questions. So here we go. Is there a dead line? No. Get out there when you can, shoot and post results when you can. Are Pistols ok to use? We are planning on doing the same thing with pistols but perhaps a little different but if you want to use your pistol then go right ahead. Are Optics allowed? Absolutely! Use your carbine how it is set up. This isn’t a competition. It is just for everyone to show what they have accomplished with their carbine. Bench rest or Offhand? This is also entirely up to you. Most of us will be more accurate benching it but if you want to shoot offhand just to show how accurate you are then go for it. Older 995 vs TS series? Makes no difference, if you have the older 995B or the 995B converted into the 995TS or a full on TS carbine, it doesn’t matter. Use what you have. Most importantly this is JUST FOR FUN! When posting your results here is what we want: Picture of the target. Picture of your carbine (so we can see how its setup) What model is your carbine and what accessories are you using What distance are these results from What ammo details. Brand, caliber, bullet type, bullet weight, powder charge if reloads. Hope this clears some things
