Hey there! Shalom! Happy new year! Yes indeed! The year begins in SPRING with fresh new life springing forth!!! (Spring in the Northern Hemisphere) The first Passover, was the 14th day of Abib, the first month. (Abib meaning green ears) Obviously it was not the 14th day of January in the dead cold of winter!!! Have you seen the snow storms in Egypt? Oh yeah.. it does get cold and it does snow! No green ears in January. More proof the Gregorian calendar is a filthy demonic imposter and is not to be observed. YaHUaH brought them out of Egypt when things started to warm up..the barley nearly ready for harvest.. not in the dead of winter. Passover was not the 14th of January..no way! So here we are, the beginning of a new year looking forward to Passover in 14 days! And..we will have full moon on the 15th just like they did for the passage out of Egypt on the night of the 15th! Yes..wrap your head around this!--->They left the next day after the 14th which is the 15th, but they left at night according to Deuteronomy 16:1. Yes, the 15th was Sabbath and YaHUaH did not take them on the road during the Sabbath hours. The 14th day they were to kill the lamb roast it in the evening and night was Passover. Passover is not Sabbath.. was a very busy time preparing to leave asap. Passover ends in the morning when Sabbath begins... then he brought them out at night after Sabbath was over! Yes, he was re-teaching them the Sabbath..and his calendar. Calculating from the last quarter moon I knew the 12th month would be a 30 day month and it would not be visible yesterday. But I searched the sky at sunset anyway to be sure and it was not visible to me. Always somebody making a claim..only by using binoculars or a telescope could I have seen it yesterday. Whenever I can, I confirm my calculations with observations. Observing everyday visibility allows. It was barely 2 percent yesterday 3/31/14 at sunset so it was a visually confirmed 30th day dark moon here. And today 4/1/14 on the Gregorian is Chodesh! I JUST CONFIRMED A SIGHTING IN THE WESTERN SKY A FEW MINUTES AGO...is a 6% Waxing Crescent. If you have clear skies to the west at sunset. You should be able to see it hanging out there like a big smile in the western sky setting just after the Sun. Interesting factoid: Separating fact, fiction, and tradition. The first crescent moon appears as a bowl or big smiley face shape this time of year when near the vernal equinox, and is not a determining factor for the beginning of the year.. although the phenomenon does occur near the vernal equinox. The spring begins with the vernal equinox. The earth sun relationship Causes the change of the year, the year is determined by the Sun, not a bowl moon. The latter would be a Jewish tradition..not of Scripture. Is a 6 percent waxing crescent right now. Be looking up throughout the year! Shalom!
