Hi Facebook friends and family. I want to share with you some sad news. I got word yesterday that my biological father passed away suddenly. I know 99% of you didnt even know that my dad Phil as a very young man stepped up to the plate and took complete and loving responsibility for me and my mom who were alone in the world when he didnt have to... Ive never met Doug, never talked nor had any contact with him. Recently, other family and I have taken some baby steps to connect. I have learned that through all his struggles, he grew into a pretty good man and touched a lot of lives who today feel his loss deeply and with much grief. I wish to add a piece my heart to them and my shoulders to cry on and my ears to listen to wonderful stories and my eyes to share cleansing tears. Spare a moment with others to remember friends and family close and far apart because everyone has been touched by another, and they should all be remembered fondly...
