Hi Facebook friends, recently I became the event producer at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre / Kijus Restaurant in Cape Breton, NS (Membertou is a booming First Nations community within the city of Sydney, NS) I’ll still be doing the anti-bullying campaign on the side, but I’m extremely excited about this new gig and the fact that I’ll be able to play a role in bringing some world class talent to one of the best live music venues on Cape Breton Island. In the past, the centre has played host to some amazing artists such as Steve Earle, Old Crow Medicine Show, Matt Mays, Joel Plaskett, Shakey Graves, Matt Andersen, Travis Tritt, Serena Ryder, George Canyon, Tracy Lawrence, Gordon Lightfoot, Matthew Good, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rita MacNeil, Jimmy Rankin, Gordie Sampson, J.P. Cormier, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and a bunch more... One of my jobs at the centre is to help build our social media presence…so if you’re Ok with seeing my concert listings in your Facebook feed from time to time, it would mean a lot if you could head on over to our Facebook page and “like” it.
