Hi Good morning to all my FB friends this slightly drizzly morning! Hope you are all faring as well as you can(and not as an imaginary Destiny has dictated in your case!). We have come this far in our Darwinian evolutionary pilgrimage that we cant go back to that ancient prototype North African simian any longer. This means that we can but go FORWARD! Yes, thats the key word-FORWARD!The glorious past that we ourselves had beckons us and woos us to go back to those villages from where we have migrated to cities or townships probably in pursuit of some academic program or after we got wedded either with full willingness or against our will as our interfering, helicoptering and chaperoning parents desired or as our family circumstances had determiend. Anyway we are here in some place now ,I take it. Where do we go from here? All our yesterdays have lighted fools/the way to dusty death.[Macbeth] Lives have been lived most meaninglessly and often atrociously too, reminding us again and again that the simian genes are not completely gone away from us. Lives are being lived too without any clear focus in daily lifestyle or a definable goal in view. Lives are deliberately being flung away like a basket of dirt or rubble too through suicides.Parents are making unforgivable mistakes in sending our useful citizens and unforgettable kids before they return to dust once more. Whole households are being pushed to either bankruptcy or utter misery in the wake of some blackguard marrying into the household or a weasel girl from another family hunting down a youth in the family too. In order to escape from this harassing Present we grown-ups often seek refuge either in vague nebulous spiritual pursuits chasing Nirvana castles in the air or look back into the past of the nation and try to resort to the lifestyle that was lived many millennia back. But is this a wise policy please? The Past is with OLeary in the grave.Period. Not only does it have little to offer us by way of personality enrichment but also much --huge tons of it-of no practical use today!Living in the Present means living every micro second and this requires a distinct vision and mission objective. Modern technology is ensuring that we lead rather sedentary and lazy lives in a physical sense --little manual labour is required to run an efficient kitchen or even a car factory these days--but also demanding us to lead either a knowledgeable life or perish outright. FORWARD is the ONLY way to go for every one of us.We cant cite the past and demand special reservation for us in the light of that. PERFORMANCE is the only way to justify our individual existence too. So lets take a pledge this morning --to lead as enlightened a lifestyle as we can afford to have!The dust in some grave is beckoning us from afar and we have such a humongous lot to do too before we reach that point of our final resting place. So lets--dear my brothers, sisters, sons and daughters-- get down to brass tacks and not beguile any time in fruitless futile arguments either in the hallowed halls of the LS/RS or at home, and instead deliver Scotch efficiency in whatever we do!
