Hi. So my Ellie does not have osteonecrosis which is a huge Praise to Jesus! She does however have a bone growth that because of the trauma from the fall has caused a tear and her labrum which is the cartilage over the femoral ball. The doctor injected her hip today with corticosteroids under ultrasound. Listening to her scream and cry makes me die. She has to stay on ibuprofen every six hours for the next two weeks and begin physical therapy on Wednesday and continue to do three times a week for the next month. If she still unable to bear weight and is not better in the next month when we go back to the doctor then she will have to have surgical repair. My head and heart hurts
