Hi admin, if this is inappropriate please feel free to delete. I would like to warn people against purchasing fertile eggs from wallanpoultry.au (Ken Mead). I ordered & paid $350.00 for 5 dozen fertile eggs in July to be delivered in 3-4 weeks. 3 months later I asked for a refund because I didnt have my order. He refused, stating that he is not a registered business and posted the eggs to perth the next day by general postage! These pics are how I received the eggs yesterday. They were well packaged, but the condition of the eggs was appalling. I emailed Ken to ask him to resolve the problem of the eggs covered in crap and this was his response. (Copy of his email) Hi Linda, I have had customers waiting up to 6 months for eggs, since Febuary, due to the quality of my birds. I only tell you what I expect the chooks to do – I cannot force them to lay for me. As for chicken crap, I don’t send eggs that have heaps of crap on them – they may have a little, which we don’t clean off. We leave it up to the buyer as most prefer eggs uncleaned. As for you, I don’t want to hear or deal with you again. I have plenty of customers who are far more grateful for my eggs. Cheers, Ken. My hubby has been seriously ill for many months and this was the only thing that he showed any interest in. We love our chickens!
