RACE COURSE INSPECTION: We have jogged the Mount Oval Bar 6 mile Race Route earlier today and delighted to say it is in fine condition. There are some loose chippings at the top of Landsborough Hill when turning left for the first time towards Douglas Hall. No major issue, we will our best to sweep this area clear and stewards will remind you to take care here. Also on the return between mile 4 and mile 5 there are some traffic cones at the kerbside on your left covering some little holes in the tarmac. There is no cause for concern here, just worth a mention. Remember to keep left at all times and to follow the signs and stewards instructions. Good luck and Enjoy.
