Thank you, Bev. Hi Bev I spoke to you earlier today about trying to find a home for my 3 rescued birds. There are 2 galahs (1 is quite old and has an old wing injury) the other has 1 wing and at least 15 years. They are currently in an aviary together but avairy has to stay with house and we are moving out. I can take the 1 winged galah and the older one would be ok to go into another aviary with other birds. Both are not nasty and very accepting of chooks in the bottom of cage, dogs walking in and general stuff going on like that. The 1 winged one is quite friendly with me over time. It could not go into another aviary with many birds as its balance is not great and tends to fall off the perch at times. It is very timid. The corella I have is not friendly, will bite and will attack other birds. His aviary also has to stay. He was found at the RSPCA, he wouldnt perch, constantly screeched and was quite nasty. He has greatly improved over time and perches up high in the aviary. He takes silverbeet off my daughter and interacts with her better than anyone else in the family. He doesnt make alot of noise but could not go to a suburban area. If I can find a home for both galahs I can take him myself.
