Hi all, Mabel here. I want to introduce you to Agnes, my youngest cat sister. She is very very small and very very thin. She insists on only eating food that she catches, so I guess shes not very good at hunting.... Anyway, she sleeps all day and disappears in the late afternoon. Shes gone until at about mid-morning the next day. Where does she go? Well, people have called the Mamas from all over the neighborhood to come and pick her up. They think shes a kitten, cuz shes so small. They think shes lost because, how could a small kitten walk so far away? Yes, Agnes roams. She tries to follow us on marches and has even followed us the miles and miles it takes to march to the park (more than once!). Mama #2 will take her home before she marches more than a block or so, but Agnes is tricky; she likes to hide and Mama #2 doesnt know shes following us until Agnes decides to run ahead. Its not fair. Its not fair that Agnes gets to go where ever she wants whenever she wants without wearing a neck rope and halter. Unfair! Mama #2 is hoping GPS units will get small enough (and cheap enough) that she can put one on Agnes. I hope they dont. I dont think that Mama #2 really wants to know where Agnes goes. I do know that Agnes visits the hamburger place near our house. She likes to sit on their patio and catch french fries people toss at her. (She only eats food that she catches). Agnes does NOT like to play or snuggle with me or Harley, so Im not sure what shes good for. At least she doesnt take up much space or eat very much. Or try to take over a Mamas lap.
