Hi all, been offline, I just saw Dumelang Saleshandos statement where he tried to justify his misbehaviour at the funeral. I hope you remember that SIR G, MHSRIP, once said, Saleshando O na le botswerere jwa go ithatisa bobega dikgang. This is exactly what he is trying to do after erring at Sirgs funeral. Would like to urge everyone to dismiss and ignore his statement because as usual its full of half truths and falsehoods meant to potray him as a victim. People who were there and those who listened to GABZfm will confirm to you that, Dums arrived peacefully then went to take the seat reserved for him without any drama. When he left prematurely, he also left without anyone jeering, booing or screaming at him. The MC was only trying to control the tense situation at the funeral by taking the BDP and BCP off the programme. People should understand the pain and suffering UDC followers are going through by loosing such a great leader like Gomolemo Motswapedi at the peak of this campaign trail. He was not an ordinary member, he was the Bmd President, the UDC Secretary General, and the Vice Presidential candidate of the republic of Botswana. At the hieght of this campaign trail, and when our opponents had been calling him names, it was going to be hard for UDC members to just watch our opponents, especially his fierce rival in this campaign trail, being given the podium and try to praise Sir G. May be if his unfortunate death happened way after elections, then it was going to be a different story. Saleshando as a leader, should have understood this tense situation and sat quietly there, as Hon Nonofo Molefhi had done, in honour and respect for Sirg and his family because they only wanted the funeral to go smoothly without problems. He does not need to speak at sirgs funeral. His attendance was good enough to bid Sirg goodbye. At the end Saleshando as usual is trying to pull another publicity stunt saying he is ready to meet some of the UDC leaders over tea to discuss issues! Hellow!! This is the same man who was recently quoted by the media saying he cannot COOPERATE WITH A PARTY THAT DOES NOT HAVE A SYMBOL.
