Hi everyone....Franklin here (aka The Crown Prince), and as you - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone....Franklin here (aka The Crown Prince), and as you know I am headed for Chemotherapy tomorrow. I know this may sound a bit odd, but I am going to ask for 3 things from all of you tomorrow as I go through this. So, here are my humble requests.....1) Take a moment tomorrow to hug your babies (no matter how many legs they have). REALLY HUG THEM!!!As we are learning more every day, tomorrow is not promised and we dont want to miss the chance. 2) Please take a moment to remember and pray for the families of those who are newly departed. They are struggling with a different reality and that is never easy. Peanut, Hannah, and Yosemite Samantha, you may have left us way too soon, but we will remember and I will fight in your honor and memory. We are all part of the basset family. 3) Do something you wouldnt normally do for someone that wouldnt expect it and may never know it was from you. We as puppies are always meeting strangers, and sometimes it is not easy (on both sides). But I have found that I am always happier after I meet somebody new, and they are usually smiling when I leave. As people you have the opportunity to do something impactful for someone else. Please take it. You may never know the value of what you do, but that is the point. Ok, I am off my soap box now. I am just trying not to think about what is getting ready to happen tomorrow. So off I go to sleep. Tomorrow hopefully begins a new reality once again for me. This time of healing instead of the unknown. I know that I have many people who are thinking of me and are just waiting to rejoice in the progress. For that I am so grateful, and I know that mommy and daddy appreciate it for I am all they have. I know this wont be easy and daddy will be a nervous wreck all day tomorrow, but we are going to do great. For after all I am THE Franklin. Thank you for caring.
