Hi everyone! Here are the meeting minutes from last nights meeting! Lots of exciting stuff: OC Food Bank - Went super well! Raised $20 (for the 2 hours). Remember, more than one business can sponsor this service day. Have a business? Tell me ASAP and I will send them the form - all they need to fill out a few lines and the check will be $20 and written out to Action in Africa. Silent Auction - love the idea of including it in Action in Africa Day, or tabling at other major events at Chapman (that potentially include a lot of parents) -- Leanna and Chelsea Growl Juice Pub fundraiser - this is where we will (hopefully) hold our first fundraiser! possibly hold it the day of AIA Day! - Tedi Action in Africa Day updates: - for those who mentioned they would contact their friends about doing art, henna, etc. during the day, let us know the status! Henna - Lauren. Caricatures - Caleigh. (who else?) - red bull - I know who is the campus rep for Red Bull, and I can see if she wants to be involved in the day! - More companies are rolling in but we are still working with the paperwork. So far we have Serengetee, 31 Bits, Intrinsic, This Bar Saves Lives, and maybe Plants with a Purpose! We will also have Chapman clubs like Invisible Children, One for One, maybe IJM, to table too. - We have food options! Just Chill juice may come, as well as potentially Suja juice! (And red bull if that works out!) - Carol and I will by early next week submit the SGA funding app - which will include getting ts for everyone, getting a popcorn machine, and a few other things we need $ for. I will post in the group when we are meeting if anyone wants to join and help out! - Art project - we have a really awesome interactive art project - after we meet with the lady who runs it we will have more details!
