Hi everyone, I would really like some ideas on how to help my son, in Year 5, with his Math and English. We immigrated to Australia last year and he has been struggling whereas he was a top student in his class back home. The system is completely different here and he is still getting used to it, but I know he has the ability to do better. His English is very good (he was in an English school before as well) but he is struggling with creative writing. The thing is, I am not sure how to help him because they never get any homework or worksheets and we never see his books except at the end of the term. We cant afford tuition at this point. Are there any websites where I can download worksheets and help him do them? I am worried they might hold him back and that would be terrible for his self confidence. He is just starting to settle in socially and make friends. Would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks!
