Hi everyone! Im here as the bearer of some bad news: its never too early to get started on college applications. The fact is that the more time you give yourself, the more chances you will have to come up with, edit, revise, and perfect some amazing pieces of writing. I would recommend looking at the common app and the essay topics of the other apps youll be doing as soon as you can, so at least ideas will start to form as you wrap up your summer and start the school year. From a practical perspective, right now is probably the most free that you will be between now and when apps are due, so it might be worth spending at least a bit of time looking into while you still have few other obligations.
