Hi everyone, This is a great mixed road/off-road race in the south of Paris (1h-ish by suburb train): route4chateaux/ The race goes through the courtyard of 5 castles (not 4 as the name says) with live music at each castle. The after-race atmosphere is fantastic, with free beer & grilled meat. The route is very scenic but often steep, muddy and wet - and cold! Some road sections are very fast though. I remember running in the morning mist one year, good fun! Women start is 10min before Men start, so you can impress your lady is you are fast enough :) Registration opens in 3 days. This race is very popular and there is usually no entry left after 2 weeks. Let me know if you are interested in entering, I am happy to help. Youd need to bring a letter from your GP or a copy of your England Athletics card on the day if you want to race (stupid French law). There are limited number affordable accommodations near the start so the earlier we book the better! Would be great to enter a team too. Best, Alex 07964836333
