Hi everyone, its Leannes niece Aimee here, just a quick update on how Leas travelling after her 3rd cycle of treatment. All has flowed well and gone smoothly. Shes feeling uplifted from having a confident medical team, and her positive attitude was well recieved. However shes understandably feeling tired and aware of the challenges shell face in the coming weeks of her recovery. Shes coming back to Melbourne for her 4th cycle in early January, so shes looking forward to spending Christmas with her loved ones. Weve had a lovely time together, and managed to do lots of fun stuff too. Im relieved to know shes in excellent hands at Peter Mac. What a wonderful bunch of people she has looking after her. Myself and our family are so grateful for your continued love and support you offer Lea. We head home tomorrow to chilly Christchurch which will be hard after 32 degrees here today.
