Hi folks, The start of 2015 marks nearly 7 months since our preorder, and 6 months past our deadlines. We have encountered a great deal of issues with this project, and have failed to meet our goals and the expectations of our customers. I sincerely apologize for these shortcomings. Up until this point, we have struggled to find a balance between working to get these mods finished quickly, and meeting our high standards of quality. We hoped to finish these with our current manufacturing methods and fulfill our orders. The rate at which we are completing these is not only unacceptable for our customers, but incredibly costly and time intensive for us. Because of the endless delay in finishing these, we have refunded over half of our orders. After our recent push to finish the remainder of our mods, we have found the results to be below our standards of quality. Furthermore, the time it would take to finish these with our current production capabilities may draw on over the next few months. We will not release a sub-par product that still requires a long wait to deliver. While we have been working to ship these remaining orders, using our current manufacturing process, we have had plans to outsource much of our production. By outsourcing, we have greatly increased the feasibility of design features we had wished to incorporate into our mods, but were limited due to our production methods. The result would be that our current preorder customers would receive a severely delayed, less polished product, and our improved outsourced mods would be released shortly after. This is unacceptable. In order to maintain our high standards for our finished product, to meet our goals for availability and fast shipment times, and to incorporate improved design features, we will be issuing a refund for the remaining pre-payed orders and moving forward with our plans to outsource our manufacturing. We will honor the interest you have had in our product and the exceptional good faith the community has given us, and maintain your spot on our preorder list after we issue your refunds. We may be ready to offer our mods, ready to ship, sooner than we would have completed them with our current production. When that time comes, our preorder customers will come first. All orders will be refunded in a couple weeks, the minute our funds have cleared. We currently have a 15 business day hold on our funding.
