Hi guys, My name is Manvir and Im writing from new sports social network Sportlobster and wed love to help you guys interact with fans and generate interest in badminton before the Scottish National Championships and the Commonwealth Games. Sportlobster was born out of the frustration that sports fans face in having to visit multiple sites or download multiple apps to get their sporting fix. News, rumours, photos/videos, scheduling of events, making predictions/placing bets, reading blogs from fellow fans or writing your own is a disjointed experience, and ultimately this end up with lost interactions on generic social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. Sportlobster brings all of these elements into one place, tailoring your experience to your preferences in sport. Essentially, Sportlobster is the one stop shop for sports fans. Our ambassadors include Formula One driver Mark Webber, footballer Michael Owen and in February we will announce Cristiano Ronaldo (his profile is on the site but nobody knows about it yet). In terms of Badminton, Gail Emms has been on our show, Sportlobster TV: youtube/watch?v=CebwQUF3K2c Were keen to work with Gail and her fans to get more people interested in and playing badminton! We launched in April last year and have grown to 280,000 users. There are several ways Sportlobster could be beneficial for badminton.
