Hi ppp please I have a bit of a dilemma. I am 32 weeks with my second child and I was wondering if anyone else feels that bringing your mother in as part of the birth is a bad idea. My fiance of eight years seems to think its a personal thing between the couple and even confided in his mom to ses if he wasnt being insensitive and she agreed with him. Am I the only one who seems to think childbirth is a once in a lifetime opportunity that brings generations of women together as its a beautiful thing? My father passed away suddenly of a heart attack when I was in secondary school and without sounding morbid, my mom isnt in the best of shape health wise either and coupled with the fact this is our second so we probably wont be trying for another and even if we did it wont be for a while I just wanted her to be a part of this beautiful experience. I seem to be the only person as yet who thinks this is a normal request. I havent asked my mom my plans yet incase it hurts her feelings that other ppl think she shouldnt be apart of it. Help!
