Hi there brothers, sisters! I am writing to briefly and humbly express my unbounded gratitude for having found this group, along with each and every single one of you! I can barely begin to express how thrilled I am to know that there are more individuals who take charge in building their future, and the future of the vast ecosystems around them! Individuals courageous enough to live out their own dreams, to cross borders! Why I joined the group? 1) I was tired of small talk. Dont get me wrong, I like sports, I like beer, I got a joke or two hiding under my sleeve, and yes I can talk about about a movie or a show or two, but is that it? I found myself building relationships with people at a level that was far too superficial for me! I found myself looking to meet people who are interested in making a tangible difference! GREED has infected much of human activity and motivation! the conquest for self growth has turned into a sort cancerous cell undoubtedly bound to collapse upon itself!! our current system is NOT sustainable!! In addition, there is the threat that AI in the wrong hands, in the hands of GREED will lead to disaster! But, you all know that story. Bottom line is, we created technology, now technology is changing US! Technology is in fact improving so fast (assuming we continue to invest in innovation at the same rate) that our old DNA machinery is beyond obsolete for the pressures of tomorrow! Extreme poverty, violence, drug trafficking, guns, gangs.. just to name a few. I exercised my civic right to free expression at the age of 11 because i had no other choice. it was a privilege to have had that pressure in my life But, I realized, I should be exercising the SAME civic right as a GLOBAL CITIZEN!! Ever since, I began to study nature at all scales! atoms, particles, planets, stars, galaxies! and many mind blowing, awe inspiring conclusions started to erupt! ever since I have not been able to find meaning in money, jobs, salaries, careers. I am doing everything humanly possible to sustain myself so I can dedicate to speaking about these matters and I will be looking to study Biotechnology and Bioethics. (law school). My intend is to cover the political/legal realm to be able to postulate strong arguments that will hold in international courts in the case that we face global resistance to our movement in the near future.
