Hi this is Linda, Chamber Director. We held a pioneer day planning meeting today at noon. I brought up the subject of horses not being allowed in the parade and that people were very unhappy about this decision. We want you to understand we did not make the first decision with the intention of hurting anyone, we went off information from some folks that it might be unsafe to allow them to walk on the new pavement. However we have decided after much talking to MODOT to let horses back into the parade.
