To my opinion, it is double standard because the SIG LGBT (for Lesbians, Gays etc.) was pushed from him itself without any international organization: Dear Mark, The WFD Board wishes to acknowledge your email dated 19 September 2014. The issue that you raised in your email was discussed at the recent WFD Board meeting in Beijing, China. First of all, we would like to thank you for defending the realisation of the human rights of deaf Jews as a separate minority within the Deaf Community. We are interested in setting a dialogue with the relevant international organisation in order to see what could be done by the WFD. This is because the general principle that the WFD follows in its work is, that it engages in dialogue with other international organisations, such as WASLI (World Association of Sign Language Interpreters) or ICSD (International Committee of Sports for the Deaf), to give you an example. Thus, the WFD Board would like to encourage you to be in contact with a relevant organisation representing deaf Jews at the international level so that we could consider establishing a co-operational relationship with this international organisation of the deaf Jews.
