Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock......actually it was running all over the place until Buckshot caught it and dragged it outside. It looked more like a shrew with the long pointed nose. Anyway, its visit was short here. :) Had dreams of funnel cakes and turkey legs and cotton candy. So when I got up this morning was quite hungry. A plain glazed donut had to suffice after all of the yummies at the fair. Terry attended the picnic for the new Methodist minister late yesterday afternoon at McComb Park. Umberto and his wife and family were all there and he said there was a good attendance with kid games galore. Umberto, not sure if I spelled it right, is from Cuba and I got a chance to meet him and talk drums as we both love them. He wanted to hear about me playing professionally but we have to wait till another time when theres more time. This was just an introduction by Terry at Walmart. There were a few members from other churches there that spoke spanish so that helped out. I dont think we got the predicted rain it doesnt look like. The humidity is bad enough. Ill be getting my computer worked on this week and then decide if I have to get a new one so there will be a couple of days with no morning message. I think Thurs. and Frid. but Ill be back like gang busters on Sat. morning for sure. LOL :) Did everybody see the super moon last night? Wow, impressive. Almost as impressive as when I accidentally mooned the person delivering the mail one day and I didnt see them see them gettting dressed. But thats another story for another time. :) In the meantime, will take a short nap and hopefully the funnel cakes and other goodies will return. Enjoy the day! ...... earl d.
