Hide Id please.... I am african american... my ex husband is Zimbabwean. .. we were married for 5 years. I found out he was having an affair... I tried to keep is together for 2 more years... but I couldnt deal with the lies and things anymore. So I divorced him. We lived in California. I have since been in other relationships. . Have went back and forth with him numerous times. .. to finally rid myself of the unconditional love In dying held for him...I moved to the east coast with our 4 yr old son, Inyasha. He has come out here 3 times and each time he has come to visit...we make love. We enjoy our family...its like new love all over again..He talks of moving here. .I know he has had a gf.. her name is noby...I believe she is Zimbabwean as well. but then nothing comes of it. So I finally cut him off for good...told him I no longer even want to be his friend... He cant keep hurting me. So I no longer speak to him unless it involves our child. And since I have cut our relationship. .. He has cut his relationship with his son. Doesnt call him... or answer his calls... seems like he doesnt care anymore... my question is...In Zimbabwean culture...does a mans relationship with his son...depend on the relationship he has with the childs mother? Its hurting my son whats going on.. and Im ready to cut him out of our sons life totally as well...to prevent my son from being hurt. My ex says he is humba...of the shona tribe...is there something Im missing? Im confused as well as dont want to be hurt...more so...I dont want my son hurt
