High pressure will track through the Upper Midwest and a disturbance will track through Missouri. Between the two, we will have variably cloudy skies. That means some will actually see the sun today! However, the system to the south will keep throwing clouds at us. It will also try to push some snow into the area, but it looks like the high will keep most of us from seeing much more than a few flurries. Keokuk and Washington counties may end up with a tenth of an inch of light snow. Temperatures will be cold today and tomorrow.. highs in the mid 20s to low 30s... before climbing back into the low 30s for Friday. Mid 30s take over for the weekend and then we have a system that will bring rain and snow on Monday and light snow on Tuesday to the state. Looking ahead, it looks like we may have some snow showers into Wednesday, but Christmas day (right now) looks dry. Of course, now that Ive said that, it will change....
