Higher Everyday SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 2014 A PROGRESSIVE TEAM Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions. (Daniel 2:17-18) Daniel in our text informed his three friends of a crisis situation in Babylon and asked them to join him in corporate prayer for solution. As a young Christian, who are your most intimate friends? God provided the solution to only Daniel in a dream after their prayers. However, in thanking God, Daniel recognized the role of his friends, saying, ...for thou hast now made known unto us the kings matter (Daniel 2:23b). Christian youth can also team up today in prayers to (1) Stop and destroy the forces of darkness fighting against the Church (2) bring revival of holiness, power and evangelism in the Church (3) bring deliverance to the oppressed, bound, and afflicted (4) preserve the Church in unity. Like Daniel, Mark Zuckerberg, the inventor of Facebook, also teamed up with some classmates: Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, Andrew McCullum and Chris Hughes to develop the Facebook website. You can also get some Christian youths to join you to plan innovative ways for evangelizing your community. Remember, There is power in unity. Challenge: Weak people, when united become strong.
