Hip Hop is a wide spread and extremely popular form of dance combining jazz and popular club steps. Our new instructor uses family friendly music, sometimes edited personally by her to be sure it is kid friendly. Ages 5-8 will dance to artists from the Disney channel, younger bands and some edited music. Ages 9-16 dance to music that is edited by the teacher to cut out inappropriate content. I always tell parents to not look at the name HIP HOP and assume it is one style of music.
