His eyes speak what his mouth cant. His expressions say what words cant. His actions prove what his language cant. It takes a caring heart to understand Randhir Shekhawat. It takes a sensitive mind to decipher the hurt soul! Tumhe rulane ka haq sirf mera hain... Tumhe torture karne ka haq sirf mera hain, Parth ka nahi... The words, when seen without going deep, look like a typical MCPs dialog. But to those who want to understand Randhir, they hold a special meaning. In both cases, what he means is that it hurts him to see Sanyukta get hurt. He knows she hates him. So when he hurts her, its different. She hurts him back. Tit for tat. But she trusts people like Parth. So when they hurt her, she feels the pain and is incapable of returning the favour. Hence these words! There is an underlying concern, a beautiful love hidden behind those two sentences...Its not for everyone to understand, but the ones who do, are fortunate! Iss duniya mein koi kisi ka nhi hota...Tum chali jaogi apne engagement ke baad... He knows...he knows what she means to him. He has always known that. But his dysfunctional family and his hatred towards his mother has compelled to not invest emotionally anymore. It is painful to see him go through this phase of confusion, misery and hurt. He needs Sanyukta and yet is afraid that shell leave him and he will be shattered again! His predicament is different. Parth lost Arpita, who passed away. It wasnt Parths or Arpitas fault. So what he feels is grief. But for Randhir, he never had a mothers love. His mother is alive and yet detached. So what he feels is betrayal and hurt! You can always fall in love again. But you can never get a new set of parents! You can choose your friends, but not your family! Grief can overcome with time. But betrayal? Not that easily! And yet, Randhir is changing. Sanyukta is changing him. She is slowly and steadily breaking through his walls and making her presence in his life. Yes, he pushes her away. Because of his obvious insecurity. But at the same time, he does acknowledge her presence too. The breaking down, the hug, the holding hand to stop her moments are proof enough that Randhir Shelhawat has found the woman whom he can trust. It is amazing to watch this transformation. A special mention to Param for his flawless acting. He brings out even the smallest nuances with such perfection and leaves us bowled everytime! Randhir Singh Shekhawat isnt a character you can love overnight. Youve got to understand him with an open mind and a broad heart. Youve got to look beyond his facade. You have got to try and put yourself in his position before judging him. And when you do that, youll fall in love with the beauty of the character! -Anuradha. (IF)
