Hittite Hieroglyphics post : Major 2011 discovery of a totally unique state (with a new inscription for the corpus) : This includes a recently-discovered 10-foot-tall colossal statute of a man with a Hittite Hieroglyphic inscription on it. Im quite sure its real, and relatively recent. This is a big find, and a small but interesting addition to logographic iconography. The Japanese all publish in Japanese, which is probably even worse but also more understandable. But Turkish ? Oh, wow. And its locked so you cant copy text out of it and use Google Translate. Score. Im not going to learn Turkish for a single article. They are impeding the progress of science. This is a global age and the dawn of my Hieroglyphic Studies. I read Germanic and Romance languages, Chinese, Japanese, and can work with many others. Turkish is practically an isolate compared to these.
