Hmm... the pre-Homo Erectus legend. I really find it hard to understand humans were once initially a reptile (non-mammals) turned into a mammal through a million-year process. Theory of evolution states that we have started as a bacteria long before and through a series of adaptation, we are now humans. If evolution is progressive, then it should cover all subset of existence (other universes, which shows proof that they are also habituated by micro-organisms that should have been human or somewhere close as well by now) I still wont believe that the Earth is a billion-year old planet. Everything we believe in about the evolution theory is still a theory.
