Sri Family Enterprises is the promoter of My Family Biz – this is the same family that is behind Nuthatch Nutricare Technologies Private Limited set up in 1999 at Bengaluru. Headed by Mrs Lalitha Rao Sahib, the company is a leader in South India in its main area of operation – the manufacturing of authentic and nutritional food products. Sri Family Enterprises also has various other products and group concerns under its fold. Today, Nuthatch has over 150 workers and a full fledged R&D department to manufacture products to international quality standards. Nuthatch is HACCP certified by DNV and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company as well. However, the uniqueness of this company lies in its philosophy – it functions like one big family because it believes in the power of human relationships. Chidambaram. Hailing from an Udupi craftsman’s family with over 40 years of expertise not only in their craft but also in the art of Udupi food preparation, Mrs Rao Sahib is a woman entrepreneur, as well as Chairman and promoter of Sri Family Enterprises and My Family Biz.She is also a member of AWAKE, APEDA, FKCCI, KASSIA PIA, PFNDAI and NSI. Co-Promoter: Mr S. R. Rao Sahib Mr Rao Sahib is the Director of My Family Biz besides being a co-promoter. He is an MBA from Newport University, California with three decades of experience and expertise behind him. He has also worked in Voltas Ltd., a leading TATA enterprise Rao Sahibs are the Jagirs of Arni a place near Vellore, Tamil Nadu, and the family has served Arni for more than 300 years from 1630 to 1952. Service Mr and Mrs Rao Sahib are Rotary Members and do a lot of social service. To create awareness for important social issues, every year from 1999 up to today, they, have walked the 284 km distance from their residence in Bengaluru to Tirupathi. They undertake this walkathon to create awareness for lesser known but important issues like disability in children, especially Autism. Also, to generate funds to help the under privileged in association with Rotary International – one such being the Multiple Disabled Children’s Residential Home for rural children at Dharithree near Dobaspet.
