Home sweet home! No bail money needed. The gist of the meeting is they are tearing up 60th street from 30th ave to 39th avenue and parts of the side streets that run along 60th st starting on Monday. The project will probably take up to 4 months depending on the weather. They will start at 39th avenue and work their way east. First they will tear up the parkways and driveway approaches and then the street. Home owners have to pay for sidewalk repairs. ( I got hit with 3 squares aprox $450.00 because they have hair line cracks in them. ( no joke) you all seen my sidewalk. We were told that are aldermans and the contractor would be there tonight However I know that my alderman was not. And the contractor did not show up either nor did he send a rep.
