Honesty is such a funny thing. It certainly reveals more than you would expect or sometimes hope, and in so many facets of your life. If youve chosen well in life not much will change with a revelation that equates to something unordinary; something foreign and potentially confusing. More often than not however, it is a grand exercise in the art of accepting disappointment that at first glance is a scratch on the surface. In reality it is a deep wound, and once its cut out the structure that heals looks like a shadow of what it was before. We hope that there is enough energy left for it to grow back strong and beautiful, thriving. No one choses to wither, it defies the laws which dictate survival. It is rather a prolonged culling of ones will to continue to push forward which leads us to accept defeat.
