I wish people would get clue and have a heart!! You want your dog to live outdoors, build or buy them proper shelter. Give them a bed or blankets or both, toys and bones. Water container they cant easily knock over. Nothing around for the chain or leash to get stuck on or tangled, and a fence is even better than a chain. Shelter from heat, rain, snow, and bugs! Put a doggy door on the dog house... it wont keep all insects out but most. A few extra bucks for a happy healthy pet and it keeps you one step further from purgatory!! Even those with thick heavy coats, our seasons hear are more severe and dramatic then most places. Heat and cold are equally deadly. The ones with thin coats and bare skin, sun burn and the bugs will eat them raw! 😱
