Honored to support @Kamehameha Schools Campus Maui today and every day in collaboration with @Sarah Noelani Reyes for their Senior project where their seniors are working on projects, trying to improve the community one little step at a time. The purpose of their senior project is to bring awareness to the community along with promoting local gardens that produce delicious fruits, herbs, and vegetables. She came across our website and saw how beautiful your garden is and how it seems to be flourishing. Her product is for 3 weeks, once a week, I am creating local fruit and vegetable baskets for 15-20 of her teachers that agreed to participate for a monetary donation. All proceeds are going to the Waste Not Want Not Foundation that goes to local gardens taking produce that is about to spoil and takes them to senior centers and children in need. Her question to AKL Maui was if we are willing to donate a small amount of produce for only one of my three weeks. She understand times are hard but everything counts and everything matters. She Thanks us for making time to listen to her product request and support her goals. Happy Farming Maui!
