Hope Solo, while allegedly drunk, assaulted family members in a DV incident. Why are some people comparing this to Ray Rice not inebriated punching his wife Janay into the next day or Adrian Peterson who whipped his sons nuts with a switch as mind boggling. Neither of the latter cases involved any judgment impairment from an inebriated state of mind. Both of the latter involve a lot of harm and violence to the defenseless. By making it appear DV appear is too hard reason force, violence, age, inebriated state and other elements it makes me further understand some people are out of touch with what violence in a family resembles. Thats a frightening discovery as a father because ignorance grants people plausible deniability. Why are so many men pleading ignorance? Men, youve to stop being flagrantly stupid with your comparisons on the hotbed subject of DV.
