Household hint that helps reduce and even eliminate some costly plumbing issues. Once a month ( set your own schedule ), pour a hall box of baking soda in each drain (prior to going to bed), run just enough water to get it down in the drain. Let set over night. In the morning pour 1/2 cup white vinegar into the drains. Let fizz, then run enough water to push the solution down into the drain. The enzymes will not only dissolve potential clogs they will clean out and build up in your pipes. Tried and proven over the past 12 years.
