Houston update- things are going well, four radiation treatments completed. Had a good visit with cardiologist yesterday and he provided reasons for irregular heartbeat episodes. He had some treatment suggestions but has deferred some of these options to doctor in Head/Neck Dept. Will have echocardiogram on Friday between radiation treatments. Our days are long and tiring but overall, we are blessed and know Gods hand has been on us the entire time. The hospital here is incredible and words cannot describe it. So many brilliant and dedicated people. I said today I wish I had come to Houston to work just out of nursing school for a few years. Oh well- I trust God led me where he wanted me to be. Good night and tonight I pray for His comfort and peace to all those struggling with and affected by cancer.
